Therapy that feels like a good fit—for you.
Meet Our Team
Erika Ladwig, LPCC, M.Ed.
Therapist. Real talker. Deep feeler. Let’s untangle what’s getting in the way—and make space for the life that’s waiting.
My approach to therapy is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and curiosity. I create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—where your story is heard, your emotions are honored, and your past is explored with care and purpose. Together, we’ll take a closer look at the feelings, beliefs, and patterns that shape your relationships and your view of yourself.
I blend psychodynamic and existential therapy with a warm, grounded presence. That means we’ll dig into family dynamics, attachment patterns, and past experiences—but we’ll also talk about meaning, purpose, and how you want to live going forward. I believe emotions are powerful teachers, and I’ll help you tune into your own inner wisdom with honesty, empathy, and the occasional well-timed laugh.
Therapy with me isn’t about performance. It’s about connection. I’ll show up as my real self, and I hope you’ll feel safe enough to do the same. I’m not afraid to challenge you when it’s helpful—or sit with you in the hard stuff when you’re not sure what comes next.
You are inherently good. You are worthy of love. And you have the power to build the life and relationships you desire.
Let’s explore what’s possible, together.
Berit Menier, Intern
Hi, I’m an intern at Lachlan—currently somewhere between classes, a hiking trail, and the last chapter of a good book.
This year, I’ll be coordinating our Learning Collective and managing social media. I’m a senior at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, majoring in Family Social Science, and I plan to pursue graduate school to become a licensed mental health provider.
I’m passionate about digging into life’s big questions—the messy, meaningful conversations that help us feel more connected to ourselves and each other. I’ve always been drawn to spaces where people can be real, vulnerable, and heard. That’s why this work matters so much to me.
I’m a heart-on-my-sleeve kind of person who believes that real growth begins with feeling truly seen. I may be early in my journey, but I’m here with open ears, an open heart, and deep respect for the courage it takes to do this work.
Being part of Lachlan means learning not just about mental health, but about the power of community, reflection, and human connection. I’m so excited to be on this team and to grow alongside others who care deeply about the work they do—and the people they do it for.
