Therapy in Minnetonka
& throughout
Minnesota
A little more space to feel like yourself.
More than getting through
You hold a lot.
There’s room for
you here.
You may be the person others count on. The one who keeps things moving, shows up, and figures it out. But lately, worry follows you home. Your relationships feel harder. Or the life you’ve worked for doesn’t feel quite like you.
You don’t have to wait for a breaking point to want something different. And you don’t need the perfect words to begin. At Lachlan, we’ll make space for what’s hard, get curious about what matters, and work alongside you toward a life you feel more connected to.

How we help
For the hard parts.
And the life ahead.
Individual and couples therapy for the things weighing on you and the changes you’re ready to make. We work with adults and teens, with care shaped around your needs and your stage of life.
Anxiety & Depression
When your mind won’t slow down, your energy is low, or getting through the day takes more than it used to, we’ll help you understand what’s happening and explore ways to feel more steady and engaged.
Trauma
Difficult experiences can continue to shape how you feel, respond, and connect. We offer trauma-informed care at a pace that respects you and the story you bring.
EMDR
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It uses bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, taps, or tones, to help the brain process distressing memories and experiences that may still feel present. Sessions are paced around your needs, with the goal of reducing the memory’s emotional intensity and supporting more adaptive beliefs and responses.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a focused approach that combines eye movements with guided imagery. Its defining feature is Voluntary Image Replacement, which lets you choose new imagery for the distressing pictures your mind returns to without changing the facts of what happened. You remain in control and can do the work without describing the experience in detail.
Relationships & Couples Therapy
Couples come to us when they feel disconnected, keep getting caught in the same conflicts, or want to strengthen their relationship. Sessions create space to understand recurring patterns and hear each other more clearly. Together, you can practice more open communication, repair trust, and build the kind of connection you both want.
Parenting
Support for the strain, uncertainty, and identity shifts that can come with parenting. Make room for your own needs while finding a steadier way to respond to the people who depend on you.
Life Transitions
College, a new career, a growing family, or an unexpected change can leave you rethinking what matters. This work gives you space to adjust, make intentional choices, and find your footing.
Feeling Stuck or Unfulfilled
When life looks fine on paper but doesn’t feel like your own, there may be more to understand. We can explore burnout, work-life balance, loneliness, purpose, and what you want next.
We accept a range of major insurance plans, with private-pay options also available.

Before we begin
A few things
you might be
wondering.
Starting something new can bring questions. We’re happy to talk through yours.
What happens in the free consultation?
We’ll meet virtually to hear a little about what brings you here, answer your questions, and talk about finding a therapist who fits. It’s a chance to get to know us before deciding on your next step.
Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?
No. You might have a clear concern, or simply a sense that something feels off. Both are a place to start. You can tell us what you know, and we’ll help you explore the rest.
Who do you work with, and where can we meet?
We offer outpatient therapy for adults, teens, and couples, including support with parenting. Sessions are available in person in Minnetonka and online throughout Minnesota. We can discuss provider fit and availability during your consultation.
Can I use insurance or pay privately?
We work with several major insurance plans and offer private pay options. Benefits and provider participation vary, so we encourage you to confirm coverage with your insurer before starting. See insurance and rates or contact us with questions.
A little more space. A whole new sense of possibility.
You don’t have to have
it all figured out.
Bring your questions, your hopes, or just the feeling that it’s time for something to shift. We’ll start with a conversation and see where we can go together.
