Rachel Nguyen-Le, PsyD, LPCC, She/Her/Hers
I believe therapy is the process of understanding where you are at, where you want to be, and the steps necessary to get there. Therapy requires understanding, curiosity, intention, and patience. My role in your therapy journey is to assist you with understanding your experiences, gaining new insights, and using that knowledge to make better choices.
I strive to facilitate therapy that is strengths-based, collaborative, and culturally responsive. My goal is to foster a space where you can feel safe, seen, and be able to explore and learn the skills to navigate through difficult times…or navigate through life in general.
I have experience working with anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, dissociation, grief, relational problems, and self-exploration. Thus far, my specialized training has been focused on using therapies to treat post-traumatic stress disorder, co-ocurring substance use issues, and manage grief and loss.
My therapy practice is distinctly integrative. Though I tend to draw techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Outside of work, I enjoy creating art, finding my next favorite local restaurant, playing sports, and attempting home improvement projects.
